Terms and conditions of sale
In order to benefit from the services offered by Camping USHUAÏA Villages Au Bois Joli, we ask you to read the general conditions below carefully. These conditions govern the sale of holidays and are valid at the time the reservation is made. Booking a holiday implies full acceptance of our general terms and conditions of sale (GTCS).
BOOKING CONDITIONS
- Bookings only become effective once the deposit has been received and the general terms and conditions of sale have been accepted when the booking is made online.
- Reservations are accepted or refused depending on availability and, in general, on any circumstances likely to affect the execution of the reservation made. Camping USHUAÏA Villages Au Bois Joli offers family-oriented holidays that are soothing and natural. The accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any booking which is contrary to this principle, or which seeks to deviate from it.
- Reservations for camping pitches or rental accommodation are made on a strictly personal basis. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your booking without the prior consent of the campsite.
- Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Camping pitches
The basic package includes a pitch for a tent, caravan or single-axle camper van for 1 to 6 people, with access to the sanitary facilities and the campsite infrastructure (the basic package is for 2 people).
Rental accommodation
- Rental accommodation is fully equipped and the basic charge is for 1 to 6 people, depending on the type of accommodation.
- The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the accommodation rented.
- The fifth person in the MH Family Privilège can only be a baby sleeping in a folding cot.
- Rentals are available per night, except on certain weekends in May and during the high season (July and August). In July and August, all rentals are available for a minimum of 7 nights (either Saturday to Saturday or Wednesday to Wednesday), except for the canvas MHs, which are available for a minimum of 3 nights. If there is still availability, the Management reserves the right to modify these conditions. Bookings for a week or more will always be given priority. You must contact the campsite by telephone or e-mail if you wish to book a short stay.
- Pets are accepted in some properties at an additional cost, except for those with wooden floors.
- In all our accommodation, beds are made on arrival.
- An inventory is located in each rental, which should be checked on the day of arrival and any missing items reported to reception within 24 hours of arrival.
- All our accommodation is strictly non-smoking.
The booking fee is €19.00 and is non-refundable. If we have not received the deposit within one week of your booking, your option will automatically expire. We can only process bookings with completed contact details.
GROUP BOOKINGS
- Any booking of more than 4 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are travelling together for the same reasons on the same dates is considered to be a group.
- The accommodation offered on the website is intended exclusively for individual customers.
- For all group booking requests, you must contact the campsite by telephone or e-mail. The campsite reserves the right to examine the booking request before accepting or refusing it.
RATES AND TOURIST TAX
- The prices shown are valid for one season. They correspond to one night or one week and are in euros, including VAT.
- The amount of tourist tax varies.
- Off-season special offers and discount cards can never be combined.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
- For bookings made more than 21 days before the start of the holiday, a deposit of 20% of the price of the services booked must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 21 days before the start of the holiday. In the event of non-payment of the balance by the customer no later than 21 days before the start of the holiday, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the reservation and relet the accommodation.
- For bookings made less than 21 days before the start of the holiday, full payment must be made at the time of booking (20% deposit + balance of the holiday).
- Tourist taxes must be paid on arrival at the campsite.
DEPOSIT
Before your arrival you will receive an e-mail from the company Swikly to pay your deposit of 200 € corresponding to your rental. The amount will only be blocked on your bank card and will be deleted automatically after your stay if there is no damage.
This amount covers the cost of any theft, breakage or damage to the inventory or furnishings of the rental property during your stay. If any damage is found within 24 hours of your departure, the amount will be invoiced and will have to be paid and during this period your deposit will be blocked. Following payment, it will be returned to you.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
1. Changing your booking
Customers may request a change to their holiday (dates, type of accommodation) by writing to the campsite (by post or e-mail), subject to availability. No postponements will be accepted for the following season. If no change is made, the customer will have to stay under the original booking conditions or cancel the booking in accordance with the conditions set out in the cancellation insurance policy obtained from CAMPEZ COUVERT.
- Any request to increase the length of your stay will be validated according to availability and invoiced at the current rates.
- Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption of stay conditions. Refunds are not systematic.
2. Unused services
If your stay is interrupted or shortened for one of the following reasons:
- Closure of borders,
- Administrative closure of the campsite,
- Quarantine on the customer's arrival or on the customer's return home,
- Limitation of travel to a number of kilometres that makes it impossible to come to the campsite,
The campsite will issue a voucher for the amount of the unused nights, valid for 18 months.
Apart from the reasons mentioned above, any stay that is interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) due to the customer's fault will not give rise to a refund or voucher.
3. Cancellation by the campsite
In the event of cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, the sums paid for the reservation will be reimbursed in full. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
4. Cancellation by the camper
a. In the event of cancellation by the camper without subscription to the cancellation guarantee
For one of the following reasons (preventing the stay):
- Closure of borders
- Administrative closure of the campsite
- Quarantine on the customer's arrival or on the customer's return home
- Travel restricted to a number of kilometres that makes it impossible to come to the campsite.
The campsite will issue a voucher for the full amount paid, valid for 18 months.
For all other reasons:
- Case 1: Cancellation up to 15 (fifteen) days before the start of the holiday.
The 25% deposit will be retained by the campsite as a cancellation fee. The sums paid, deducted from the amount of the deposit, will be refunded.
If part or all of the payment has been made with a voucher worth more than the deposit: the 25% deposit will be retained by the campsite as a cancellation fee. A new 18-month non-refundable voucher will be issued for the amount of the original voucher less the 20% deposit.
- Case 2: Cancellation less than 15 (fifteen) days before arrival
The deposit of 20% of the total cost of your stay will be retained by the campsite as a cancellation fee. The campsite will issue a voucher for the sums paid, deducted from the deposit. This voucher is non-refundable, non-transferable and valid for 18 months.
b. In the event of cancellation by the camper with a cancellation guarantee subscription
The sums paid are covered by the guarantee in accordance with the general cancellation conditions. You will find the general cancellation conditions in the insurance section. If the reason for cancellation is not covered by the cancellation insurance or if the file is refused by the insurance, the general sales conditions in paragraph 4 a. will apply and the cost of the cancellation insurance will be deducted from the sums paid in the event of cancellation.
YOUR STAY
1.Arrival
- The campsite opens in April and closes at the end of September. It is open every day of the week. Maximum arrival time is 8.00 pm.
- Rental accommodation: you will be welcomed from 4.00 pm for the handover of the keys to your rental accommodation.
- Camping pitches: you will be welcomed from 2.00 pm.
2.During your stay
It is the holidaymaker's responsibility to take out insurance. The holidaymaker is responsible for looking after his or her personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of an incident for which the holidaymaker is liable. All customers must comply with the internal regulations.
3. Departure
- Rental accommodation: On the day of departure indicated on your contract, the accommodation must be vacated before 10am. The accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy condition and the inventory may be checked. Any broken or damaged items will be invoiced, as will the restoration of the premises if this proves necessary. If the accommodation is not clean when you leave, you will be asked to pay a cleaning fee of at least €90 including tax.
- Camping pitches: The pitch must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure indicated on your contract. The pitch must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
PETS
Pets are accepted (except 1st category dogs) for a fee payable at the time of booking.
When they are allowed, they must be kept on a lead and their droppings must be picked up.
Dogs are not allowed near the swimming pool, in food shops or in communal areas (toilets, etc.). Dog and cat vaccination records must be up to date.
IMAGE
You authorise the USHUAÏA Villages Au Bois Joli campsite and any person appointed by the campsite to photograph, record or film you during your stay and to use the said images, sounds, videos and recordings on any medium (in particular on the campsite's websites or pages - including Facebook and Instagram - on presentation and promotional media and in tourist guides). This authorisation applies both to you and to persons staying with you. Its sole purpose is to promote and animate the campsite and it may in no way damage your reputation. This authorisation is granted free of charge, for all countries and for a period of 5 years.
DISPUTES
Any complaint concerning the non-conformity of the services in relation to the contractual commitments may be notified by post or e-mail to the campsite owner.

LIABILITY OF CAMPING USHUAÏA VILLAGES AU BOIS JOLI
The customer expressly acknowledges that the campsite cannot be held responsible for the communication by its partners or by any third party of false information mentioned in the brochure or on the campsite website, and in particular the presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure activities, services and operating dates.
All photos and text used on the campsite website may be non-contractual. They are for information purposes only.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND PRIVACY
The information you provide when making your booking will not be passed on to any third party. This information will be considered confidential by the campsite. It will only be used internally. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and object to any personal data concerning you.
