The Port Pothuau Campsite Team thanks you for taking a few minutes time to read our contract conditions before confirmation of your reservation. We hope you will have a pleasant stay that will meet your expectations.

SUMMARY OF RECREATION AND CAMPING SERVICES
The campsite is open from 5th April to 29th of September 2024.
Important: Access to the campsite requires the compulsory and permanent wearing of the bracelet.

A beach shuttle service is available for our guests in July and August.
Pool:
The swimming pool is freely accessible for our customers and is open every day (opening hours depending on the season) and is regulated by the permanent wearing of the access bracelet.
Shorts, bermudas and swim trunks are accepted if different from those used on the beach. Covering clothes like bath dresses, burkinis and tankinis are not allowed in the swimming pool. Diapers are mandatory up to 3 years.
Despite the presence of lifeguards during July and August, parents remain responsible for the survey of their children. As the pool and the slides may be dangerous, children must always be under adult supervision.
It is not allowed to eat or to smoke in and around the swimming pool. Failure to respect this prohibition may involve exclusion of the swimming pool. The swimming pool is unheated.
The Mini Club is available for children from 4 to 12 years and is open in July and August, according to the displayed planning.
Pets: in our rentals only small dogs or other animals less than 10kg are accepted. Dogs belonging to category I and II (watch and guard dogs) are not allowed. They must be declared at the reception upon arrival, must be vaccinated and always kept on a leash.
A dog wash is available in the main sanatory block. It is strictly forbidden to leave a pet alone on a pitch, tied up or locked up in a car or in an accommodation. Out of respect for the other camping guests, you are asked to take your animal outside the campsite to relief itself, to collect and throw the droppings in the bins provided for this purpose. Your animals must not cause any damage or noise pollution, they are forbidden in the swimming pool.
Security: we remind you that charcoal barbecues are strictly forbidden by prefectural law throughout the entire department. Only gas or electric barbecues up to 2000 watts are allowed. Please note that campsite Port Pothuau declines any responsibility in case of theft, fire, bad weather, conflict with other customers as well as accidents concerning the civil responsibility of the registered persons.
Tourist taxes: 0.82€ per day and per adult. These taxes are entirely remitted to the department. If this tax rate changes, the new rates will be immediately applied on the reservations.
ATTENTION: for security reasons it is strictly forbidden to recharge electric vehicles on the electric outlet of our rentals. If this is not respected a financial penalty of 50€ will be applied.
Reservation conditions:
Reservation (mobile-home or camping pitch) only becomes effective after payment of the deposit of 30% of the total rental cost (within maximum 7 days after booking) and the balance that must be paid at latest 30 days before date of arrival.
Without payment in due time, the stay is automatically cancelled and the deposit will be kept as compensation for the cancellation of the contract. (the conditions of our cancellation policy will not be applicable).
The maximum number of people corresponding to the chosen type of accommodation must absolutely be respected. If the rental is for 4 people, this number cannot be exceeded, not even temporarily, adult, child or baby counting each for one person: e.g.: 2 adults + 1 child + 1 baby = 4 people. Overstated = stay refused or expulsion.
All rentals are nominative and cannot be sold or sublet. Only persons registered on the reservation contract will be allowed to enter the campsite. In case of later change of the number or the names of the participants, please inform us by mail before arrival.
No refund will be issued in case of non-notified delay or in the event a service is not available for administrative or technical reasons. Any started stay is due in full.
Any amount paid for a stay prior to 2024 that has already been postponed cannot be refunded or postponed again. The cancellation conditions of the contract cannot be applied to these sums.
Sponsor Offer: if you want to take advantage of this offer, the Sponsor must have stayed on the campsite this year (N) or the year before (N-1). The person to be sponsored or any of the accompanying people must come for the first time on the campsite.
Rates are subject to change, the campsite reserves the right to change the rate at any moment. The applicable rate for the stay is the rate valid on the day of booking, subject to availability. It is recommended to check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite.
If a customer asks for a rate request, the validity of this request is written on the document. After this day the indicated rate is no longer guaranteed.
Offers and special rates are not retroactive and cannot be cumulated.
Vehicle: only 1 vehicle is admitted on the pitch. Trailers are accepted (extra fee 5€ per day). 5€ extra can be charged is the vehicle is parked on another pitch then the customer's pitch. It is strictly forbidden to park a boat or jet ski on the pitch.
1/ Rental booking contract
GOOD TO KNOW:
In all our rentals (except Simply mobile homes) you will find : Fully equipped kitchen - Fridge-freezer - Microwave – gas stove - electric coffee maker - TV DVD/ USB player - Safe - Heating or reversible air conditioning - Blankets and pillows - Terrace with garden furniture and sunbeds - Pergola – parking place for 1 car.
Your arrival: arrival is possible between 4.00 and 7.00 PM. In case of late arrival, please inform the reception by phone 00 33 494 66 41 17 to organise your arrival. Please note that in case of no-show on the day of arrival without informing the reception by mail, the rental will be available for rent after 24 hours and refund will not be possible.
Early arrival, charged 35€, guarantees you access to the rental at latest a 1.00 PM (upon availability). This must be requested and granted by the at least 24 hours before arrival.
Departure at latest at 10.00 AM. If you wish to benefit from the swimming pool on the day of departure please subscribe the Late Check Out option, charged 20€ per rental. It is mandatory to request this option at the reception. The rental must be released at 10AM, and your car parked outside the campsite.
Deposit: a deposit of 300€ will be requested upon arrival by credit card or in cash. This amount may be entirely or partially retained in case of damage or missing equipment. Cleaning fees up to 120€ can be retained if the rental is not perfectly clean (dishes, floor, bathroom, toilets cleaned, garbage emptied, all personal belongings taken). The deposit will be closed within 7 days after departure if no missing were noted at the inventory on departure. 50 € will be charged for any smell of tobacco on departure.
Check In inventory: On your arrival it can be carried out independently with our Cool'n Camp Application or by the reception team on request.
Linen: Sheets and towels are available for rent (subject to availability). The rental must be made before arrival at the reception. For some of our mobile homes, the bed size can be 140cm or 160cm.
Rental: It is not allowed to install a tent or any inflatable structure (children pool, jacuzzi) on the rental location. Only 1 vehicle, motor or trailer is allowed. Boats or jet-skis are prohibited.
Pets: are accepted (except dogs of category 1 and 2). It is strictly forbidden to leave an animal alone in a rental or vehicle, 2 pets maximum per rental and weight less than 10 kilos.
Image rights: You expressly authorize the campsite to use pictures that could have been taken during your stay of you or your children on any possible support for promotional purposes of the campsite without any financial compensation.
In the event of a dispute and after having referred to the customer service of SE Camping Port Pothuau, any customer of the campsite has the possibility to submit a complaint to the Consumer Mediator, within a maximum of one year, from the date of the written complaint, by registered mail (with acknowledgement of receipt), to the campsite. 2/ Camping pitch booking contract
Arrival is possible between 4.00 and 7.00 PM. In case of late arrival, please inform the reception by phone 00 33 494 66 41 17 to organise your arrival. In case of no-show on the day of arrival and without informing the reception by mail, the pitch will be available for rent after 24 hours and refund will not be possible.
The maximum number of people per camping pitch must be strictly respected. The maximum capacity of a camping pitch is 6 people. In no case this number can be exceeded, even temporarily, this can lead to immediate expulsion or refusal of the stay. Children or babies counting each for 1 person: example: 2 adults + 1 child + 1 baby = 4 people.
All bookings are strictly personal, valid for one family, only the persons registered on the booking form are allowed to enter the campsite. Any change of information must be reported by mail to the reception before arrival.
Departure at latest at 10.00AM. If you wish to benefit from the swimming pool on the day of departure please subscribe our Late Check Out option, charged 20€ per rental. It is mandatory to request it at the reception. The pitch must be released at latest at 10AM, and your car parked outside the campsite.

Campsite Port Pothuau declines any responsibility in case of theft, fire, bad weather, conflict with other customers as well as accidents concerning the civil responsibility of the registered persons.
No refund will be done in case of non-justified delay or in case of a service non available for administrative or technical reasons. Any started stay is totally due.
Any amount paid for a stay prior to 2024 that has already been postponed cannot be refunded or postponed again. The cancellation conditions of the contract cannot be applied to these sums.
3/ Cancellation conditions in case of cancellation by the campsite
In case of cancellation by the campsite, except force majeure, the stay will be totally refunded. However, no compensation can be requested in this case. No refund will be made in case of non-justified delay or in case of a service non available for administrative or technical reasons.
4/ Contract cancellation conditions
If one of the following events occurs betwee, the day of booking of your stay and up to the day of arrival, you will be entitled to cancel your stay under the following conditions (Excluding carry-over from previous year) - Any request to reduce the length of your stay less than 30 days before arrival will be considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the conditions below):
Case 1 - Illness, serious accident or death of a member of your family (ascendants, descendants) or your spouse's family (sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law), making it impossible for all the participants to stay on the planned dates.
Case 2 - Complications of pregnancy after the 4th month
Case 3 - Redundancy
Case 4 - Major material damage to your own property requiring your presence
Case 5 - Cancellation or change of holiday dates by the employer
Case 6 - Accident occurring on the direct route to your holiday destination
From booking to 31 days before arrival:
Choice 1: Postponement of stay to a later date without charge, valid for year N or N+1.
Choice 2: Refund of sums paid with €100 cancellation fees.
From 30 days to 14 days before arrival:
Choice 1: Postponement of stay to a later date without charge, valid for year N.
Choice 2: Postponement of stay to a later date, valid for year N+1 with a €100 cancellation fee.
Choice 3: Refund with a deduction of 30% of the total amount of the stay, with a minimum of €100 for cancellation costs.
From 14 days to arrival:
No refund or postponement of stay will be made. No-shows on the day of arrival (no show) without informing reception in writing beforehand will result in the pitch or mobile home being put up for sale again within 24 hours without any refund or postponement being possible.
Early departure will not give entitlement to any refund except in the circumstances described in case 1, which would make it impossible for all participants to complete their stay.
These lists are exhaustive; any other reason will not be considered (e.g. personal reasons, separation, divorce). Any request for cancellation, modification or early departure without official justification will not be considered. Any postponement of a stay is valid only once.
For a request to be valid, it must be sent by e-mail to: info@pothuau.com (date on which the cancellation is considered, which automatically cancels the holiday). The proof of cancellation must be provided within 7 days of the cancellation. If it is not received within this period, the holiday will be forfeited in its entirety, as well as any sums paid.
INTERNAL RULES FOR CAMPSITES
(ADAPTED FOR CAMPING PORT POTHUAU)
I. CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION AND STAY
To be admitted, to install and to stay on a campsite, you must be authorized by the responsible of the reception. By staying on the campsite, the customer automatically accepts the present rules and agrees to comply with them. No one can live permanently on the campsite.
The maximum capacity of a camping pitch is 6 people. In no case this number can be exceeded, even temporarily, even if it is a baby.
Any minor person non accompanied by a legal responsible adult will not be allowed to stay on the campsite. Any violation can lead to expulsion of the person, if necessary, with help of the police.
II.POLICE FORMALITIES
Any person staying at least one night on the campsite must firstly present their identification documents to the responsible of the reception and complete following formalities:
In application of art. R. 611-35 the responsible of the campsite every foreign customer must fill in upon arrival a document with
1) Names and first names;
2) Date and place of birth;
3) Nationality;
4) Usual place of residence.
Children younger than 15 may appear on the record of one of the parents.
III.INSTALLATION
The caravan, tent or camper, camp material as well as the vehicle must be put on the indicated pitch according to the information given by the responsible. Order and cleanliness must be maintained on the pitch and around.
IV.RECEPTION
The reception is open from 9.00 AM to 7.00 PM during low season and from 8.30 AM to 8.00 PM during high season. The opening hours can change according to circumstances after display.
At the reception you can find all information about the services on the campsite and useful touristic information in the surroundings.
If you might have any problem or complaint, please inform the reception.
V. FEES
Fees are to be paid directly at the reception. The amount is according to the displayed rates and the nights you stay on the campsite (from noon to noon). Customers are invited to inform the reception of their departure at least one day before. If you wish to leave before the opening hours of the reception, we ask you to pay the day before leaving. Customers staying more than 1 week, fees are to be paid every week.
VI.NOISE AND SILENCE
Customers are requested to avoid any noise that might bother their neighbours. Audio devices volume must be regulated in consequence. Closure of car doors must be as quiet as possible. Silence must be total between 11.00PM and 6.00AM.
VII.ANIMALS
Domestic animals are accepted (subject to fee) under following conditions: customers must have indicated the presence of their animal when booking and indicated the weight (in rentals animals only less than 10 kgs are accepted) as well as the breed (category 1&2 forbidden). Dogs and other animals should never be left free on the campsite. They should not be left alone, even locked up, in the absence of their owners who are civilly responsible for them. They must always be kept on a leash, wear a collar with the name of their owners who must have insured and vaccinated them, and they must take care to prevent or clean any soiling (bags available at the reception). The use of sanitary facilities is strictly prohibited for animals. A dog shower is available in the main sanitary block.
VIII.VISITORS
Visitors are allowed to enter the campsite but remain under the responsibility of their hosts.
They must ask the reception the permission to enter the campsite and must indicate who they are visiting. Presence of the host is mandatory to receive a bracelet.
If this procedure was not respected, their hosts will be charged with the number of people not declared as from the beginning of their own stay.
Access to the waterpark is strictly limited to our customers as well as their visitors after having shown an identity card and paid the visitor fees.
Any person who is not a registered customer of the campsite is not authorized to use the swimming pool.
If the visitor does not wish to go to the waterpark, only the identity card must be shown. Wearing a special bracelet remains mandatory inside the campsite.
Anyone who is not a registered customer of the campsite cannot access to the swimming pool.
If the visit does not include access to the swimming pool, only an identification document will be requested and given back upon departure (before 7.00 PM except July and August).
IX.TRAFFIC AND CIRCULATION OF VEHICLES
Inside the campsite vehicles must drive at a speed limit of 10 km/h maximum and park their car on their own pitch. Jet skis and boats are not allowed.
It is not allowed to drive on the campsite between 11.00 PM and 6.00 AM. The entry barriers are closed.
If you arrive during this lapse of time, you must park your car outside the campsite on the parking areas.
Out of respect for our environmental policy, it is not allowed to wash your car on the campsite. Please use car wash stations (e.g ; l'Ourson bleu in La Londe les Maures).
Only vehicles of our customers are allowed to drive inside the campsite. Parking on free pitches is strictly forbidden to not block the circulation or installation of new arrivals.
Any obstructive parking inside the campsite might be charged 5€/day.
X. OUTFIT AND APPEARANCE OF THE INSTALLATIONS
Everyone is required to refrain from any action which could adversely affect the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of the campsite.
Proper behaviour and clothing are required from all customers. Any affront to public decency by indecent clothing will result in the immediate exclusion without prejudice to possible public action.
It is forbidden to throw soiled water on the ground or in the gutters.
Customers must empty their wastewater in the facilities provided for this purpose. Household waste and other waste of any kind must be placed in the containers provided for this purpose.
The sanitary facilities must be kept in a constant state of cleanliness by the users. Parents must accompany their young children to the toilet and must ensure that their children do not play in or around the sanitary facilities.
Washing is strictly prohibited outside the bins provided for this purpose.
The drying of linen is tolerated near the accommodation, on the condition that it is discreet and does not disturb your neighbours. It must not damage the flora. Floral plantings and decoration must be respected. It is forbidden to hammer nails into trees, to cut branches or to pick up flowers.
Floral plantations and decorations must be respected. Campers are not allowed to demarcate the camping pitch by personal means, or to dig the soil.
Any degradation to vegetation, to fences, to the pitch or to campsite installations will have to be paid by the author.
If the damages are committed by children, their parents are responsible.
The pitch occupied during the stay must be released in its initial state.
XI.SECURITY
a) Fire
Open fires (wood, charcoal etc.…) are strictly forbidden by prefectural law, except normalized barbecues (gaz or electric) under the entire responsibility of their owners and having extinction means at disposal (garden hose, fire extinguisher, …).
Stoves or any other gas appliance whose barbecues must be kept in perfect working order and must not be used in a tent or near a car.
In case of fire, immediately notify the reception or a member of the staff. Fire extinguishers can be used if necessary.
A first aid kit is located at the reception desk.
b) Theft
Management is only responsible for items left at the office and has a general obligation to monitor the campsite during reception opening hours. The camper remains responsible for his own installation and must notify the manager of the presence of any suspicious person.
If a customer is caught stealing or if we find stolen items on his pitch/rental, the campsite will immediately expel the said person as well as all the people staying with the said person.
c) Epidemic
No camper can stay at the camp if they have a contagious disease. They must be evacuated as soon as possible.
d) Drugs
Use of drugs (cannabis, heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, crack, LSD …) is strictly prohibited by law and therefore also within the campsite. If a participant in a stay is found in possession of drugs or consuming drugs, the campsite will immediately expel the said person as well as all the persons staying with the said person. No refund of the remaining days due will be possible. We point out that “recreational cannabis” (therefore illegal because it is considered as a drug) is different from wellness cannabis (called CBD and sold in dedicated shops). The latter is legal, and its use is tolerated on the campsite only if it takes place in the customer's private space, that means on his pitch. We remind our customers who consume CBD that it has an odor equivalent to recreational cannabis and that being a family campsite, we want to limit the risk of mistakes between these two kinds of cannabis. Additionally, we ask our clients to notify us as soon as possible if they witness inappropriate drug-related behaviour. If the campsite has any doubts about the actual use of drugs, it reserves the right to call in the police, who will take over.
e) Alcohol
Although holidays represent a festive and convivial moment of the year for our customers, inappropriate behaviour linked to the excessive consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated within the campsite, such as unwanted noise disturbances caused in the neighbourhood, violence between campers, assault on camp staff,…. In the event of proven or repetitive misbehaviour, the management will be entitled to expel all the participants of the stay and without any reimbursement of the sums already paid.
XII.GAMES
Violent or disturbing games are not allowed close to pitches or rentals. They are forbidden between 9.00 PM and 9.00 AM. The meeting room cannot be used for games.
As games are not supervised, the campsite is not responsible for possible accidents that might occur. Children must always be under the supervision of their parents.
XIII.STORAGE PLACE
Equipment may not be left unoccupied on the campsite without agreement of the management, and if agreement only at the indicated location. In absence of the owner, the management is not responsible for this material. A fee, the amount of which will be displayed at the office, will be due for storage.
XIV.VIOLATION OF INTERNAL RULES OF PROCEDURE
In case a resident disturbs the stay of other customers or does not comply with the internal regulations, the manager or his representative may orally or in writing, if he considers it necessary, give notice to the latter to cease the disturbances.
In the event of a serious or repeated breach of the internal regulations and after formal notice by the manager to comply with them, the latter may terminate the contract, without possibility of any reimbursement of the sums already paid.
In the event of a penal offense, the manager may call in law enforcement.
XV.CAMPSITE RESPONSIBLE
He is responsible for the order and the good running of the campsite. He has a duty to sanction serious breaches of the rules and, if necessary, to expel disturbers.
All complaints are to be filed with the office and will only be taken into consideration if they are signed, dated, as precise as possible, and relating to relatively recent facts.
XVI. DISPLAY
These internal regulations are displayed at the entrance of the campsite and at the reception desk. It is given to each customer who requests it.
Camping Port Pothuau is classified 4 stars, including 154 leisure pitches and 204 tourism pitches.
The rates of the different services are communicated to customers under the conditions set by order of the Minister responsible for consumption and can be viewed at reception.
XVII.OTHER
In the event of a dispute and after having contacted the Customer service of the Lessor's establishment, any campsite customer has the possibility of contacting a consumer mediator, within a maximum period of one year, as from the date of the written complaint, by registered mail, to the operator.
