GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

1) BOOKING CONDITIONS.
By reserving rental accommodation and/or a pitch on the campsite, the client acknowledges that he/she has read and accepts the present general conditions of sale.

The campsite offers family-oriented holidays, in the traditional sense. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any reservation that is contrary to this principle, or that seeks to divert it.
The reservation is made on a strictly personal basis. The client may not under any circumstances sublet or transfer the reservation without the prior consent of the campsite.
Each client is responsible for any disturbance or nuisance caused by persons staying with or visiting him/her.
Visitors must report their presence and pay the fee at the reception if necessary. Access to the swimming pool is strictly forbidden.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Rental accommodation, at the basic rate, includes equipment, from 1 to 6 people depending on the type of rental, access to reception and sanitary facilities.

The basic camping pitch includes a tent, caravan or camper van and 1 person, access to the reception and sanitary facilities.

The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to families or groups arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the type of accommodation rented, as well as to persons who do not correspond to those mentioned on the reservation.

Group bookings :
- Any booking of more than 3 types of accommodation by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are travelling together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay at the campsite is considered as a group.
- For any group reservation request, you must contact the campsite by telephone, by e-mail or via our Contact us section. The campsite reserves the right to examine the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.

2) RESERVATION.
The reservation of a rental accommodation or a pitch becomes effective :
- Only after the reception of the booking contract duly filled in.
- And accompanied by a deposit corresponding to 30% of the price of the stay, plus, if applicable, the booking fees, the cancellation and interruption insurance, within a maximum of 7 days.
After acceptance of the reservation by the campsite (depending on availability), a confirmation of the reservation will be sent to the client (by e-mail or post).

The total price of the stay will be calculated according to the booking dates mentioned on the contract. The client's attention is drawn to the fact that the tourist tax and the eco-contribution are not included in the total price of the stay. For rental accommodation, the balance of the stay is payable 30 days before the arrival date specified in the booking contract. After this period, if we have not received payment of the balance, we will consider the reservation cancelled and the cancellation conditions will apply. For bookings made less than 30 days before the arrival date stipulated in the booking contract, the full price of the stay will be requested from the client and paid by credit card only. No refund will be made for early departure or late arrival.
For a pitch, the balance of the stay is payable on arrival and no reduction will be granted for early departure or late arrival.
In addition, the tourist tax and the eco-contribution are payable on arrival.

3) PRICES, OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS.
The prices indicated are subject to change and are in euros, including VAT. The campsite reserves the right to modify the rates at any time. Stays will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force on the day of booking, subject to availability. It is advisable to check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite directly. Offers and promotions are not retroactive and cannot be combined.

4) ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.
For rental accommodation, an administration fee will be charged for all stays from 5 July to 31 August 2025 included ; from 16 to 18 October 2025 included and from 23 to 25 October 2025 included.

5) NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL.
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the campsite informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific time is not subject to the provisions relating to the 14-day withdrawal period.

6) MODIFICATION OF THE STAY.
The client may request to change the dates and/or terms (type of accommodation) of the stay at the campsite, provided that the campsite receives the request by e-mail at least 21 days before the initial arrival date.

However, the client must book a new stay at the campsite during the same season as the one in which the initial stay was planned, according to the availability and prices in force. The initial stay may not be changed more than once. If the customer cannot honour the stay substituted for the initial stay, it will be considered as cancelled; the sums paid will not be refunded. If the price of the substituted stay is higher than that of the initial stay, the customer must pay the difference at the latest 30 days before the new planned date of arrival. If this is not done, the substituted stay is considered as cancelled and the cancellation conditions will apply. If the price of the substituted stay is lower than the price of the initial stay, the campsite will keep the difference in price, as compensation for the damage resulting from the change of stay.

7) CANCELLATION OF THE STAY.
Cancellation by the client:
All cancellations must be notified by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt; they will take effect on the date of their first presentation by the postal services, received at least 30 days before the date of arrival stipulated in the booking contract, the balance will not be charged to the client, but 15 euros will be retained as cancellation fees, plus the amount of the deposit paid, plus, if applicable, the handling fees, cancellation and interruption insurance.
After this date, the client will be liable for the balance.

By way of derogation from the above, if the cancellation is due to the fact that the client resides in an area where a confinement measure prohibiting the persons residing there from moving around to avoid the spread of Covid-19 is in force on the date of the beginning of the stay, the amount of the deposit paid, plus, if applicable, the booking fees, the cancellation and interruption insurance, shall be retained by the campsite; The balance will be credited towards a future stay at the campsite, which must be booked during the same season as the cancelled stay or during the following season, depending on availability and current rates. This is the case even if your cancellation letter is presented to us less than 30 days before the arrival date stipulated in the booking contract.

Cancellation by the campsite :
In the event of cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, the sums paid for the reservation will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation shall not give rise to the payment of damages.

As an exception to the above, if the cancellation is due to an administrative closure imposed in particular to combat the spread of Covid-19, the sums paid will be retained by the campsite and will be the subject of a credit note to be used for a future stay at the campsite, which must be booked during the same season as the cancelled stay or during the following season, according to availability and current rates.

8) DELAY.
In the absence of a written message justifying a delay, the rental accommodation or pitch becomes available 24 hours after the date of arrival stipulated in the booking contract (all rental accommodation or pitches must be occupied before 8 p.m. on the day of arrival), the sums paid will be retained by the campsite and the client will be liable for the balance.

9) RECEPTION OF THE CLIENT.
On arrival, the client will be asked for :
- An identity card or passport or camping card.
- For all rental accommodation, a deposit of 90 euros for the restoration of the premises and a deposit of 390 euros for missing or damaged equipment.
- For all refrigerator rentals, a deposit of 80 euros for the restoration of the equipment.
These deposits will be returned to the client after the inventory of fixtures, on the day of departure, after deduction of the indemnities withheld, on the basis of supporting invoices, for the restoration of the premises and the value of the missing or damaged equipment. The withholding of deposits does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed the amount of the deposit.

10) ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE.
Rental accommodation:
They are counted by the week, from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, for the period from 5 July to 31 August 2025 included. Outside this period, they are charged by the night, the days of arrival and departure are free, with a minimum of 1 or 2 nights depending on the type of rental accommodation and the period.
On arrival, the rental accommodation is available from 4 pm to 8 pm and on the day of departure, it must be vacated before 10 am.

Pitches:
They are counted by the night and the days of arrival and departure are free.
On arrival, pitches are available from 2pm to 8pm and on the day of departure they must be vacated before 11am.

For any late departure, the client may be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.
The client accepts the pitch as it is (trees, plantations, vegetation, etc...).

11) RULES AND REGULATIONS.
All clients are required to respect the campsite's internal rules for the duration of their stay, a copy of which is displayed at reception, on pain of being expelled from the campsite, without any reimbursement of the cost of the stay. The campsite is at your disposal to send you a copy by e-mail on request.

12) PETS.
Animals are allowed on the campsite, except for dangerous breeds, subject to an up-to-date vaccination certificate and a fee payable at the time of booking. They must be kept on a lead and must not be left alone under any circumstances. Their owners will be responsible for removing any dirt they may cause.
They are not allowed near the swimming pool, in the reception and sanitary facilities.
Only one animal is accepted per rental accommodation, with its bedding.

13) CANCELLATION AND INTERRUPTION INSURANCE.
The campsite offers you an optional Cancellation and Interruption Insurance - Covid Extension in your booking contract. Our partner Gritchen Toledo and Associates undertakes to reimburse all or part of the stay only to clients who have taken out the Campez Couvert insurance. In case of cancellation, please inform the campsite of your withdrawal as soon as an event preventing your departure occurs, only by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt. If the claim is covered by the general insurance conditions (available on www.campez-couvert.com or from the campsite), notify the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents.
This insurance is optional but highly recommended.

14) INSURANCE.
It is the client's responsibility to take out insurance, as the campsite declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, etc., as well as in the event of an incident involving the client's civil liability.

15) IMAGE.
The client authorises the campsite, as well as any person appointed by the campsite, to photograph, record or film him/her during his/her stay and to use the said images, sounds, videos and recordings on all media (in particular on the campsite's websites or pages - including Facebook and Instagram - on the campsite's presentation and promotion media and on travel or tourist guides). This authorisation is valid for the client as well as for the persons staying with or visiting the client. The sole purpose of this authorisation is to ensure the promotion and animation of the campsite.
The client may object to this practice, upon arrival at the campsite, by writing to the campsite reception.

16) DISPUTE AND MEDIATION.
Any possible complaint concerning the non-conformity of the services in relation to the contractual commitments can be reported by e-mail or letter to the campsite manager.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may refer the matter to the Mediation and Arbitration Centre of Paris (CMAP), after a period of one month following the sending of these e-mails/couriers. You must submit a file online on the following website www.cmap.fr or by post: Centre de Médiation et d'Arbitrage de Paris - 39 avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt - 75008 PARIS.

17) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND PRIVACY.
The information that the customer communicates when ordering will not be transmitted to any third party. This information will be considered by the campsite as confidential. It will only be used by the campsite's internal services, to process the order and to reinforce and personalise the communication and the offer of services reserved for the campsite's customers according to the customer's interests. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the customer has the right to access, rectify and oppose any personal data concerning him/her.
