Article 1 - Scope of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions govern by operation of law all the sales of holidays on Campsite on the website www.camping-picouty.com. They form part of every agreement entered into between the Campsite and its customers.
Every customer acknowledges having read and understood these terms and conditions prior to any reservation of a holiday, for him/herself and any other person included in the party.
In accordance with applicable law, these general terms and conditions of sales are made available to the customers for consultation prior to the conclusion of any holiday sales contract. They can also be obtained upon written request addressed to the registered office.
Article 2 – Booking conditions
2.1 Prices and payment
The prices of the holidays are in euros, inclusive of VAT. The attention of the customer is also drawn to the fact that the tourist tax is not included in the price. Bookings will not be accepted until the Campsite has received the booking contract, filled in and signed, along with the deposit and booking fees. Booking should be confirmed within 10 days, otherwise the rental application will not be considered. Remainder of the invoice will be paid on the day of arrival at the Campsite. A booking confirmation will be sent.
Accepted methods of payment: credit card, cash, checks, holiday voucher, and bank transfer.
For last minute bookings in a timeframe shorter than 30 days before arrival, booking should be paid in full.
For campgrounds booking: all bookings are made in the name of one specific customer, and can under no circumstances be transferred to another. Booking becomes effective only after agreement of the Campsite.
For accommodation bookings: all bookings are made in the name of one specific customer, and can under no circumstances be transferred to another. Booking becomes effective only upon receipt of the deposit and booking fees.
In all instances of unreported late arrival, accommodation/campground becomes available 36 hours after the arrival date marked on the booking contract. After this period, without any written notification, booking will be regarded as cancelled and the account previously versed will remain to the Campsite.
2.2 Modification of reservation
No reduction will be made in the event of late arrival or early departure.
2.3 Cancellation
In case of cancellation the deposit will be refunded only if a cancellation notice has been received 30 days before arrival.
Failing this, the deposit will remain to the Campsite. Booking fees will not be refunded in any case.
2.4 Withdrawal
The statutory measures relating to the right to withdrawal period in the case of distance selling as provided for in the Consumer code are not applicable to tourist services (article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer code).
Thus, for any booking in the Campsite, customers will not benefit from any right of withdrawal.
Article 3 – Living arrangements
3.1 Arrival and departure
•Accommodation
Peak season: arrivals between 4 pm and 8 pm, departures before 10 am.
Low season: arrivals and departures are determined in agreement with the management, on any day of the week.
•Campground
Arrivals between 2 pm and 8 pm and departures before 12 am, on any day of the week.
3.2 Deposit
As security deposit of 300 € (250 € to cover any material damages and 50 € for cleanliness of accommodations) will be requested for each accommodation on the day of arrival. It will be returned on the day of departure after inventory. Any damage will be added to the invoice as well as the cost of cleaning if the customer does not leave the accommodation perfectly clean. If the customer is not present during inventory, deposit will be returned by post. Smoking in the accommodations is strictly forbidden. Pets are not allowed in the accommodations.
3.3 Departure
For any departure from a campground or return of the keys after 10 am, you will be billed for an additional night. Any extending of the stay must be communicated at least 24 hours before departure. Extension of the stay is only possible within the limits of availability.
3.4 Animals
Pets are allowed on the Campsite, except dogs considered dangerous (see current law). Display of up-to-date vaccination record is mandatory. However, pets should always be on a leash and they are now allowed in accommodations for hygienic reasons. They must not be left alone and their droppings must be collected. An extra of 2€ per day will be charged for every pet.
3.5 Rules of procedure
As required by law, adherence to the rules of procedure of the Campsite is mandatory. It is available on-site upon request.
3.6 Additional costs
All accommodations and campgrounds include one vehicle.
Additional costs will be billed for extra vehicle and visitors.
3.7 Personal image rights
You expressly authorise « Camping Le Picouty » to use, free of charge, in any medium, any photos of you or your children that may be taken by the campsite staff for publicising.
Article 4 - Liability
Campsite declines any liability for damage suffered by the camping-caravanning material for which the customer is responsible; an insurance to cover your material for civil liability is mandatory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC...).
Article 5 – Applicable law
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law and any dispute arising from their execution will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant Tribunal de Grande Instance or Tribunal de Commerce of Cahors.
