GENERAL TERMS OF SALE
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Booking a stay implies full adherence to these conditions.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
The rental is personal, it is forbidden to sublet or assign the site to a third party. The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the campsite, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt of either the reservation contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general conditions of sale when booking online. The campsite Les Rives du Lac Cantalès offers family stays, in the traditional sense, the accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any reservation which would be contrary to this principle, or which would seek to divert it. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Before returning the contract, check availability with the campsite's reservation service.
Camping site
The basic package includes the pitch for the tent, caravan or camper for 1 or 2 people, access to sanitary facilities and reception facilities
Renting
The rental accommodations are fully equipped: furniture, dishes, pillows and duvet. The basic package is 2 to 8 places depending on the type of rental. As stated in our brochure and the website, each accommodation or camping site is provided for a specific number of people. For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of occupants cannot be exceeded. In addition, a baby is considered a person in his own right. The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families presenting themselves with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation. Remember to bring your sheets, fitted sheets and pillowcases. Pets are accepted, only dogs of category 1 and 2 and animals other than dogs and cats are strictly prohibited in the campsite, we reserve the right to refuse access to the rental to families presenting with an unauthorized animal.
Group Booking
Any reservation of more than 4 accommodations by the same natural person or by different natural persons but knowing and moving together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay is considered a group. Our accommodations are exclusively for individual customers. For any group booking request, you must contact us by phone, email or via our Contact Us section. We reserve the right to consider the reservation request before acceptance or refusal of it.
RATES AND TOURIST TAX
• The prices indicated are valid for the 2021 season. They correspond to one night and are in euros, 10% VAT included. Any subsequent change in the applicable VAT rate occurring between the time the rates were determined and the billing of the stay, will result in a consequential change in the price including VAT, which the customer unreservedly accepts. • The amount of the tourist tax is € 0.60/day/person over 18 years (2021).
ECO PARTICIPATION
Our farm is subject to taxes for natural resources (clean water) and waste treatment (wastewater, household waste). This is a budgetary impact at compensation value and awareness of € 0.06/day/person over 18 years (2021).
TERMS OF PAYMENT
For reservations made more than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the price of the amount of the services booked, plus 12 € of administrative fees, plus the possible amount of the cancellation insurance, must be paid upon booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival. In the case of a reservation of less than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, the entire stay is payable on the day of the reservation. Similarly, for any reservation of a stay of less than 7 days, the full amount will be requested when booking. Payment methods: CB, Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, bank cheques in euro
France, holiday vouchers, bank transfers. In the absence of full payment 30 days before your arrival, Les Rives du Lac Cantalès campsite reserves the right to consider the reservation as cancelled. Payments will not be refunded.
NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L121-19 of the French Consumer Code, Les Rives du Lac Cantalès, informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specified date, or according to a specified frequency, is not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period.
STAY
Arrival and departure on the day of your choice except in July-August. Mandatory minimum stay varies according to the period and type of accommodation, details on our brochure and our website. 1. Arrival Camping pitch: arrival from 15:00 to 19:00. The connection to the electrical terminals must be made using cables and sockets in accordance with the legislation in force. Provide a cable length of 25 meters and a European adapter. The campsite is not able to provide the equipment mentioned above. Departure no later than 12:00. Any parcel not released at 12:00 will result in automatic billing of an additional night. For all rentals: arrival from 15:00 to 19:00. Departure before 10:00. At the keys, deposits will be requested. The PARKING location of the rental is designed for a single vehicle, any other vehicle will have to park outside the campsite or be subject to a tariff surcharge. Any late arrival must be reported before 18:00 so that the campsite can make its arrangements. If you wish to arrive in the morning, you must book the night before. Any delay on the arrival time must be reported in order to allow the retention of the rental. The manager reserves the right to dispose of the planned location if it remained without news within 24 hours after the expected arrival date. Payments will not be refunded. Any change in the number of people that may result in a change in the amount of the fee in addition or less must be reported on arrival (tourist tax, additional person compared to the capacity of the rental...). In the event of an incorrect declaration by the customer, this contract will be automatically terminated and the sums paid will remain acquired to the lessor. The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to persons presenting themselves with a higher number of participants than the proposed package, the capacity of the rented accommodation and if the names do not correspond to the arrival. 2. During your stay It is the camper's responsibility to ensure: the camper is responsible for monitoring his personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in case of incident falling under the civil responsibility of the camper. All customers must comply with the rules of procedure. Each tenant in title is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by people who stay with him or visit him. 3. Visitors For security reasons, it is imperative that visitors register upon arrival at reception before visiting a resident. Access to the aquatic area is strictly forbidden to all visitors. The management reserves the right to prohibit access to the campsite for non-registered persons. Supplements: any supplement not declared (additional person, dog, etc.) and discovered during a check-in during the stay will be charged to the customer since the date of his arrival. 4. Departure Rental accommodation: On the day of departure indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated before 10 am by appointment at reception. The accommodation will be made in perfect condition, and the inventory can be checked. Any broken or damaged object will be at your expense, as well as the restoration of the premises if necessary. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of the stay after deduction of the compensation withheld, on supporting invoices, for any damage noted by the inventory of places of exit. The withholding of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs are higher than the amount thereof. In case the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, a cleaning fee of a minimum value of € 70 will be requested. For any departure outside the opening hours of the reception, a cleaning fee of 70 € will be requested. For any delayed departure, you may be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.
SURETIES
For rentals, a deposit of 200 € is required on arrival to cover any damage to the rental, as well as an additional deposit of 70 € to cover any cleaning costs at the end of the rental; they are returned on the day of departure after the inventory. Under no circumstances can the key of the mobile home be delivered without the deposit. For camping pitches, a deposit will be required in the case of equipment rental.
ANIMALS
Pets are accepted for a fee payable when booking, only dogs of category 1 and 2 and animals other than dogs and cats are strictly prohibited in the campsite. They must be kept on a leash at all times. They must not harm the tranquility and safety of residents and respect the basic rules of hygiene. They are prohibited near swimming pools, in food shops and in buildings. The vaccination record for dogs and cats must be up to date.
CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS
1. Modification of your reservation The customer can request the modification of his stay (camping, date and/ or type of accommodation) on written request to the campsite (mail or e-mail) to the extent of availability and possibilities. No postponements will be accepted for the following season. The attention of the customer is focused on the fact that in case of modification of the stay, it will not be possible for him to benefit from the promotions subsequent to his initial reservation, the date of the first reservation being authentic. In the absence of modification, the customer must make his stay in the initial booking conditions or cancel it according to the cancellation insurance conditions. • Any request to increase the length of your stay will be made according to availability and rates in force. • Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption of stay In the absence of a message from you indicating a postponement of your arrival date, the accommodation may be available for sale again 24 hours after the date of arrival mentioned in the contract, and you will lose the benefit of your reservation accordingly. 2. Services not used Any interrupted or abbreviated stay (late arrival, early departure) will not give rise to a refund for any reason. 3. Cancellation by camping Les Rives du Lac In case of cancellation by camping, except in case of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation may not give rise to the payment of damages. 4. Cancellation due to the camper Cancellation and interruption of stay insurance is offered, it is optional and payable in addition to the rental at the same time as the deposit. No refund will be made without taking out cancellation insurance. Any cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing (LRAR) at the campsite. If the cancellation occurs: • More than 30 days before the start date of the stay: the deposit will be kept as compensation. • Less than 30 days before the start date: 100% of the amount of the stay will be required and no refund will be granted.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Cancellation insurance can only be taken out at the time of the initial booking request. The customer undertakes to take note of the general insurance conditions proposed during his initial reservation. The general conditions of cancellation insurance are available at any time on our website.
RULES OF PROCEDURE (EXTRACT)
The camper is required to respect the rules of the campsite and the swimming pool. The parking location of the rental or camping site is designed for a single vehicle. Any other car must park outside the campsite or be subject to a surcharge. Access to the aquatic area is reserved only for the campsite clientele (SWIM BRIEF OR BOXER MANDATORY). No drinking, eating or smoking on the beaches. Animals and large inflatable buoys are prohibited. Electric barbecues are prohibited, only gas and charcoal barbecues are allowed. VISITORS: visitors are required to declare themselves upon arrival and must pay a fee. They are allowed between 10am and 10:30pm. They must park their car at the car park outside the campsite and report to the reception (or the bar if it is closed) upon arrival. Dogs and access to the pool are prohibited for security and insurance reasons. Any abuse from visitors or tenants with visitors may result in eviction. TRAFFIC: speed is limited to 10 km/h. The gates are closed between 11pm and 7am, all traffic is prohibited during this period. NOISE: the night calm must be respected by all campers between 11pm and 7am. In the event that a client disrupts the stay of other users, does not respect the provisions of the rules of procedure or has given false information about the occupants of the plot, the manager or his representative may orally or in writing, if he considers it necessary, give notice to the latter to cease the troubles. In case of serious or repeated breach of the rules of procedure and after formal notice by the manager to comply, the manager may terminate the contract. In the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call on the police.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTUAL CLIENT
The contractual customer of the accommodation or pitch (name indicated on the booking form) undertakes to use and have used by the accompanying persons, the equipment and facilities of the campsite in accordance with their normal destinations and uses. In particular, he undertakes to leave his accommodation or location in good condition when he leaves at the end of the stay. Any deterioration of the premises, loss or destruction of the movable elements that fill the mobile homes or public buildings of the campsite engages the responsibility of their author. The contractual customer of an accommodation or location is considered personally responsible for all damages, losses, damages, disturbances or nuisances caused by people who stay with him or who visit him. When a customer disturbs or causes nuisances to other customers or affects the integrity of common facilities, the campsite reserves the right to put an immediate end to its stay without payment of any compensation and without prejudice to claims for compensation that the campsite and third parties could assert against it. The same would apply if the campsite were to find an abusive occupancy of the accommodation (number of occupants higher than the authorized capacity of the rental). The client certifies that he is the holder of a civil liability contract with his insurer covering damage caused to leased or entrusted property (provide the certificate).
CAMPING RESPONSIBILITY
Under no circumstances does the campsite assume the obligation to keep personal effects and objects within the park. The responsibility of the campsite, beyond its legal responsibility, can not be engaged in case of: • theft, loss, damage or damage to personal effects of any kind, during or following a stay. • failure or decommissioning of technical equipment, failure or permanent or temporary closure of certain facilities of the campsite when these are beyond its control and related to cases of force majeure. • occasional measures taken by the campsite management to restrict access to certain facilities, including changing rooms and swimming pool, when they are made necessary by compliance with safety standards or periodic maintenance work. • damage caused or suffered by customers' vehicles parked and circulating within the campsite, even if they have been expressly authorised to enter. • modification of the animation program or proposed activities. In low season, and for reasons related to attendance, the campsite reserves the right to modify or remove certain facilities, amenities, services or entertainment provided. For any reservation in low season, we advise you to contact the campsite to validate these points.
IMAGE RIGHT
During your stay, you can be photographed and appear in all our publications and any type of support without time limitation. In case of refusal, you must notify it by registered letter before your arrival.
PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the Data Protection Act n°78-17 of 6 January 1978, the customer is informed that the personal or personal data indicated as mandatory collected as part of the reservation are necessary for the execution of the latter. The Customer has a right of access, rectification and opposition to the transfer of these data to third parties that he can exercise by contacting, by mail to Camping Les Rives du Lac Cantalès – Lieu-dit Espinet – 15150 SAINT GERONS.
RECLAMATIONS
All complaints relating to the conditions of the stay must be made on site to the Management to allow it to find an immediate solution.
