GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE CAMPSITE LA SIMIOUNE
These general conditions automatically govern all sales of stays made on the site www.la-simioune.fr
They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers. Each customer acknowledges having read these general conditions prior to any reservation of a stay, for themselves and any person participating in the stay. Registering for one of our stays implies acceptance of our conditions of sale and GDPR, and the internal regulations of the campsite. In accordance with current law, these general conditions are made available to any customer for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any contract for the sale of stays. They can also be obtained upon simple written request addressed to the headquarters of the establishment.
Free services (swimming pool, play areas, wifi, snack/bar, etc.) cannot give rise to any refund or reduction in price in the event of temporary or permanent unavailability.
No bachelor or bachelorette parties will be admitted. Our campsite is reserved for strict customers, for security and insurance reasons linked to the forest and the swimming pools, even short-term visitors are not authorized, they will have to wait for you in the outdoor car park.
I- PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price of stays is indicated in euros, VAT included. The customer's attention is drawn to the fact that tourist tax is not included in the price. Any subsequent modification of the applicable VAT rate, occurring between the time the rates were determined and the invoicing of the stay will result in a corresponding modification of the price including tax. Even in the event of late arrival or early departure, the reserved periods are due in full.
The tenant has the obligation to occupy the premises personally, to live there “as a good father” and to maintain them. Only one car is included in the rental price, any additional car will be calculated at the current campsite rate and subject to availability. The rental must only be occupied by the number of people indicated on the reservation contract and corresponding to the equipment of the accommodation. In addition, the “composition of the family” entered on the reservation contract is contractual, and cannot therefore be modified without the written agreement of the reservation service.
For campsite reservations: All rentals are nominative and cannot be transferred. The rental only becomes effective with our agreement and after receipt of the total amount of the stay and the reservation fees. A 50% deposit will be required upon reservation. The balance must be paid no later than 7 days before your arrival.

For reservations made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment of the stay must be made at the time of booking by credit card.
A deposit (not cashed) of €500 for the rental and €80 for cleaning will be required on arrival. Deposits must be paid by bank imprint, check payable to “La Simioune” or cash. After inventory, the deposit will be canceled or returned no later than one month after the tenant's departure except in the event of a deduction.
II. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Arrivals and departures from camping and rental pitches can take place any day of the week. In case of late arrival, you must notify reception: 04 90 63 17 91. Arrivals after 9:30 p.m. are not accepted.
For campsite pitches: Arrivals are between 12 a.m. and 6 p.m. Departures must be before 12 a.m.
For rentals: arrivals are between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., departures are between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
II- WITHDRAWAL
The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling provided for by the Consumer Code are not applicable to tourist services (article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Thus, for any order for a stay with the campsite, the customer does not benefit from any right of withdrawal.
III- CONDITIONS OF MODIFICATION / WITHDRAWAL / CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION
The “camp-couvert” cancellation insurance is optional and payable in addition to the rental at the same time as the deposit. No refund will be possible if cancellation insurance is not taken out (provided that the cancellation conditions are covered by the partner insurer “campez-couvert”)

Modification of the contract =
Any change in people must be reported at least 1 month before arrival subject to acceptance by the rental company. Otherwise, people who present themselves will be refused access to the campsite and accommodation.
The reduction in the number of people or options chosen during the reservation will not be subject to any refund, the stay will be due as indicated at the time of reservation.
Adding the number of people or option to the reservation will be done according to the rates in effect.
Any inaccurate declaration will render the contract void, the deposit will remain with the lessor; all the information provided in this contract will be used to establish the invoice.
Exceptionally and at least 1 month before arrival, Any request to modify the dates of the stay may be made but only upon acceptance by the manager of the establishment and subject to availability over the period concerned displaying the same rates (low or high season), modification of the dates of the stay or reduction of the duration of the stay will not be subject to any refund/reduction.
Cancellation / No show = It is agreed that in the event of withdrawal by the tenant:
For locations =
- more than 7 days before the lease takes effect, the tenant loses the deposits paid,
- less than 7 days before the lease takes effect, the lessor collects the difference between the deposits and the equivalent of the total rent, as a penalty clause.
If full payment is not made no later than 7 days before the first day of rental, the lessor may consider that the reservation is canceled and the tenant will lose the deposits paid.
For rentals =
- more than one month before the lease takes effect, the tenant loses the deposits paid,
- less than one month before the lease takes effect, the lessor collects the difference between the deposits and the equivalent of the total rent, as a penalty clause.
If full payment is not made no later than 30 days before the first day of rental, the lessor may consider that the reservation is canceled and the tenant will lose the deposits paid.
For any unreported delay, the rental/pitch becomes available 12 hours after the arrival date mentioned on the reservation contract. After this period, and in the absence of a written message, the reservation will be void and the deposit will remain with the campsite management. The campsite will thus be able to redeploy its property in order to put it back for rental, without compensation or refund possible for the customer.
IV- CANCELLATION INSURANCE BY “CAMPEZ CUVERT” PARTNER INSURANCE
Cancellation and Interruption insurance can be taken out with “Campez Couvert” when you make your reservation. Our partner Gritchen Affinity undertakes to refund all or part of the stay to our vacationers. In the event of cancellation, notify the campsite of your withdrawal as soon as an event occurs preventing your departure by post or email. If the loss is provided for in the general conditions (available on the website www.campez-couvert.com or from the campsite), notify the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents (declare your loss on https://www.campez-couvert.com/pour-les-particuliers/annonce-interre-votre-sejour/ or at 0248659395).
In the event of subscription during the reservation, the customer declares to have read the general conditions and special agreements of this contract and releases Camping La Simioune from all responsibilities in the event that the reason for the cancellation is not covered. by the insurer.
V- OCCUPANCY OF THE PREMISES
All installations are in working order and any complaint concerning them occurring more than 12 hours after taking possession of the premises cannot be accepted. Repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance during the rental will be the responsibility of the tenant.
The tenant has the obligation to ensure that the tranquility of the neighborhood is not disturbed by his actions, his family, or his loved ones. The management reserves the right to expel any person not respecting the internal regulations of the campsite or causing nuisance to others and to call the police if necessary.
The rentals are rented furnished with kitchen equipment, crockery, glassware, blankets and pillows, garden furniture, as they are in the descriptive state attached to the contract. The tenant is required to notify the lessor of any breakage or loss, by completing the inventory provided and annexed to the contract.
At the end of the rental, if applicable, the lessor will be entitled to invoice the tenant for the total value at the replacement price of the broken, chipped or damaged objects, furniture or equipment and those whose wear exceeds the normal for the duration of the rental, the price of cleaning blankets made dirty, compensation for damage of any kind (curtains, ceilings, windows, floor, bedding, etc.) and to withhold from the deposit the amount corresponding to the replacement or the repair of the latter. Upon departure, the chalet will have to be put back in place and cleaned. Otherwise, a lump sum of €80.00 will be withheld from the deposit paid.
VI-RESPONSIBILITY
The tenant undertakes to use his civil liability insurance in the event of a disaster (fire, water damage, etc.). Lack of insurance will give rise to damages.
The lessor undertakes to insure the accommodation against rental risks on behalf of the tenant, the latter having the obligation to notify him, within 24 hours, of any disaster occurring in the accommodation, its outbuildings or accessories.
The tenant cannot object to a visit to the premises, when the owner or his representative requests it.
VII- ANIMALS
Only category 3 dogs, kept on a leash and up to date with their vaccinations, are allowed on the pitches.
Animals are not accepted in rentals. Otherwise, people arriving with an unauthorized animal will be refused access to the campsite and accommodation and will not be refunded. The stay will be due as indicated when booking.
OFFICIAL INTERNAL RULES OF CAMPSITE LA SIMIOUNE
I-Admission conditions
Arrival of pitches = from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m., Arrival of rentals = from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Departure from pitches = between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. at the latest,
Rental departure = between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at the latest.
Outside of opening dates, no person is authorized to enter the campsite, under penalty of prosecution.
For reasons of equipment, safety and accessibility, the campsite does not accept double-axle caravans.
To be allowed to enter, settle in and stay at the campsite, you must have been authorized by the campsite manager or his representative. The latter has the obligation to ensure the good maintenance and order of the campsite as well as compliance with the application of these internal regulations. The fact of reserving and staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of these regulations and the commitment to comply with them.

Opening of the swimming pools on 01/05. The “Zen and Relax” swimming pool is reserved for adults from 01/06 to 31/08 (dates subject to change).

II-Police formalities
Any person who must stay at least one night in the campsite must first present their identity documents to the manager or their representative and complete the formalities required by the police. She must have a fixed address. The identity of all occupants must be reported to reception at the start of their stay.
Minors unaccompanied by their parents or adults will not be admitted without exceptional agreement from management and written consent from the parents.
III-Installation
The tent, caravan or camper van and related equipment must be installed at the location indicated in accordance with the instructions given by the person in charge or his representative. The rented location is intended for installation.
All of the camper's equipment, including their car, must be on their pitch. Only one type of accommodation per pitch is authorized; it is not possible to have several tents and/or caravans, chalets, mobile homes, campers on the same pitch. The camper has the possibility of setting up a caravan or a tourist type tent or a motorhome. The surface occupied by the equipment must not exceed 30% of the surface area of the location. The “camper” undertakes to only install equipment or materials on their pitch that complies with current regulations. Do not leave anything under the structure that could attract pests; it must be well supported, using clean means (tripods), the location must remain in a perfectly clean state. The accumulation of furniture, electrical appliances, tarpaulins, fabrics, various objects, etc. on the location and around the equipment is strictly prohibited.
IV-Reception Office
Reception open every day from: 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Low season)
8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. - 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (High season)
At the reception desk you will find all the information on the campsite's services, information on the tourist attractions of the surrounding area and various addresses which may prove useful. Troubleshooting on pitches, rentals or holiday packages is carried out during reception opening hours.
V-Tourist tax
Fees are paid at the reception office. They are due according to the number of nights spent on the site. Their amount is displayed at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception office. Use of the land is subject to full payment of its price (law of May 12, 1980 No. 80-335). Camp users are invited to notify the reception office of their departure the day before.
VI-Noise and Silence and Animals
Campground users are urged to avoid all noise and discussions that could disturb other users. Sound devices should be adjusted accordingly. Door and trunk closures should be as discreet as possible.
Maximum silence is requested between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. In the event of possible evenings or events during the summer, returns to the pitches must be carried out with the greatest discretion. Non-compliance may result in exclusion from the field.
Only category 3 dogs are accepted in the campsite. Dogs and cats must never be let loose or left alone, even locked up in the absence of their owners who are civilly responsible for them and who must respect the regulations in force. They must be vaccinated in accordance with the legislation. Animals are prohibited in the snack bar, in the toilets, the swimming pool area and the play areas and rentals.
VII-Visitors
For reasons of insurance and management of the number of people responsible, visitors, even very short-term, are not allowed on the campsite. Your friends/families must be waiting for you in the outdoor parking lot.
VIII-Vehicle circulation and parking
Inside the campsite, vehicles must travel at a speed limit of 10 km/h.
Parking vehicles on service roads and driveways is prohibited. Each location must maintain a space for a vehicle. To avoid traffic and access problems, be careful not to place your vehicles in awkward or prohibited places. Traffic is prohibited in the field from the barrier/gate closures. The barriers are closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. The night car park located opposite the campsite is open 24 hours a day, so access to the campsite will be via pedestrian route.
IX-Content and appearance of the installations
Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly sanitary facilities. It is prohibited to throw polluted water onto the ground or into ditches and gutters. The camper undertakes to dispose of waste water in the drains provided for this purpose. Due to collective collection, household waste must be placed in the bins. The facilities must be kept in a perfect state of cleanliness. Washing is strictly prohibited outside of the bins provided for this purpose. Hanging laundry will be as discreet as possible.
Plantings and decorations must be respected. It is prohibited to drive nails into trees, use them as support, or cut branches or copses.
It is forbidden to demarcate the location by personal means (fence, mesh, screen, planks, stakes, chains, etc.) nor to dig the ground or plant without the agreement of the person in charge. With reference to article R*480-7, it is prohibited to have garden sheds in a campsite. Any damage to vegetation, fences, grounds or campground facilities will be the responsibility of the perpetrator. The pitch which will have been used during the stay must be maintained in the condition in which the camper found it upon entering the premises.
X-Security
a) Fire
Open fires are strictly prohibited, only gas barbecues are permitted. Stoves must be maintained in good working order and not used in unsafe conditions. In the event of a fire, notify management immediately. Fire extinguishers can be used if necessary. A first aid kit is available at the reception desk. The electrical connection is only granted to compliant installations and approved types having a cable with a minimum section of 2.5 mm with an earth conductor. The campsite service stops at the bottom of the differential circuit breaker; in the event of damage (overheating) the replaced equipment will be invoiced to the customer. The collective barbecue must be extinguished by 10 p.m. at the latest and closed in the event of wind. The campsite cannot be held responsible for incidents or inconveniences due to voluntary or involuntary outages or drops or increases in power. The tenant must protect himself accordingly and undertakes to respect the safety standards imposed by law, in particular the UTE 15-222 standard.
b) Theft-Insurance
The reception has a general obligation to monitor the campsite. The camper remains responsible for his own installation and must report the presence of any suspicious person to the person in charge. Campground users are invited to take the usual precautions to safeguard their equipment. Campers are strongly advised to take out insurance against theft and take all appropriate measures. The tenant must provide proof of civil liability insurance covering all risks of this nature. An extension is recommended for theft, burglary, storm and lightning, the campsite management declining any responsibility in this regard.
XI-Game
No violent, noisy or disturbing games may be organized near the facilities.
It is strictly forbidden and dangerous to play ball or anything else in the toilet blocks. The swimming pools and play areas are unsupervised, children remain the responsibility of their parents and must always be under their supervision.
Games and equipment, activities and entertainment are offered to caravanners in the campsite or outside it, according to information and program. The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of accidents. The camper acknowledges having been informed of the risks inherent in the practice of these activities and to respect and ensure that the instructions for use are respected by the people he receives. The state of health of the participants must not present any contraindication. The camper authorizes the campsite managers to take all necessary initiatives in the event of an accident.
XII-Dead garage
Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the site after agreement with management and only in the indicated location. A fee will be due for this.
XIII-Display
These internal regulations are posted at the reception office and available on the website. It is given to the customer at his request.
XIV-Infringements of the internal regulations
The campsite manager reserves the right to refuse or expel any person with an insistent or malicious attitude.
In the event that a resident disrupts the stay of other users or does not respect the provisions of these internal regulations, the manager or his representative may, if he deems it necessary, give the latter formal notice to stop the disturbance. In the event of proven visual, olfactory or auditory impairments for other people present on the campsite, the latter will be immediately expelled regardless of the initial duration of their stay, without reimbursement of the stay. In the event of a serious or repeated violation of the internal regulations and after formal notice by the manager to comply with them, the manager may terminate the contract. In the event of a criminal offense, the manager may call the police.
