GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PITCH & RENTAL BOOKINGS
1. BOOKINGS
The reservation of your pitch or rental only becomes effective after our approval and reception by us of the booking agreement signed by you, accompanied by the deposit of 30% of the total cost (non-refundable) and 10 € booking fee for pitches and 18 € for rentals. As soon as we receive the agreement and your deposit we will confirm your booking in writing, if we have space. You must present this confirmation when you arrive at the camp-site. The outstanding balance for the total cost of your holiday is payable 30 days before your arrival. No reductions will be made in the event of late arrival or early departure. Please contact us if you have to modify your plans in any way. However we cannot guarantee to give you the same pitch or rental if you change the dates of your stay.
2. ARRIVAL - DEPARTURE
The pitch or rental you have reserved is available at 3.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated, fully cleaned, by 10.00am on the day you leave. Tenants undertake to comprehensively clean the premises or pitches before departure including the refrigerator, gas hob, microwave oven, coffee machine, etc…
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday (during july and august). Rentals are fully equipped. You only need to bring sheets and pillowcases.
Two guarantees are payable on arrival for furnished rentals: 300 € for the furniture and fittings and 80 € for cleaning. For furnished fabric tents and bungalows: 200€ for furniture and fittings and 60 € for cleaning.
These guarantees are for loss, breakage, damage to equipment and impeccable cleanliness of the rental at the end of your stay.
3. CANCELLATION
The campsite offers you optional Cancellation and Interruption insurance in your rental contract. Our partner Gritchen Affinity will refund all or part of the stay only to customers that have purchased Campez Couvert insurance. In case of cancellation, please notify the campsite of your cancellation as soon as an event occurs that prevents your departure, by letter or by email. If the claim is covered in the general conditions (available at www.campez-couvert.com or from the campsite), please notify the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents. The right of withdrawal does not apply to outdoor accommodation (Article L.121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code).
In the case of an advance payment, the down payment corresponds to the first payment on account of the purchase. It involves a firm commitment from the customer and the merchant. After the payment, the contract can no longer be canceled. If a friendly agreement is not found, no refund is possible. The consumer who withdraws must pay the full price of the goods or services and may be ordered to pay damages. The trader can not decline, even if he refunds the down payment to the customer. If he does not execute the order, he may be compelled to pay damages.
4. INSURANCE
Campers must take out their own insurance. The camp-site does not accept any liability for theft, fire, bad weather and any incident involving a camper's third party liability. All campers must comply with the camp-site house rules. The courts in Privas, Ardèche, France are stipulated to be solely competent for hearing litigation. The camper may also use a mediator of tourism:

5. SWIMMING POOL
Access to the swimming and paddling pool is free and reserved for camp-site customers.
Swimming is not supervised. Swimming trunks (not Bermudas) are obligatory.
6. PETS
Pets must never be left on their own in the campsite and always kept on a lead. 1st and 2nd category dogs are prohibited. A valid vaccination certificate for your pet must be presented when you arrive. Owners must relieve their pets outside the camp-site to guarantee camp-site cleanliness and hygiene.
7. TRAFFIC AND PARKING OF VEHICLES (cars, motor bikes, mopeds)
Speed limited to 10kph in the camp-site. Traffic prohibited between 10.30PM and 7.30AM. People wishing to leave the camp-site during this period should park their vehicle in the visitor's car park at the camp-site entrance. Only one vehicle can be parked at a pitch.
8. TOURIST TAX
The Gorges of Ardèche community of communes visitor's tax is applicable.
The amount of this tax is of 0.66 € per day per person over 18.
9. ADMISSION CONDITIONS
Only the manager can authorise entries to the camp-site. All people authorised to enter must obey the house rules, prove their identity and complete all the registration formalities. Unaccompanied minors will not be admitted if they do not possess a certificate from their parents accepting full liability for them. Individual barbecues are strictly prohibited.
